Attorneys Mark A. Hammer and Nicole Chiravollatti, both professors teaching Trial Advocacy II at Saint Louis University School of Law, have just wrapped up another semester. The entire team at The Hammer Law Firm, LLC is proud that our lawyers have been able to lend their years of experience and insight to the budding minds of St. Louis’ youth who are in pursuit of their own law degrees.

Trial Advocacy II, a class taught to third-year law students who are pursuing criminal litigation studies, culminate the semester with a 3-hour mock criminal trial, which takes place at the St. Louis City Civil Courts building in the heart of St. Louis. Attorneys Mark and Nicole gathered volunteers from the undergraduate program to act as jurors.

Mark Hammer knows the dedication and persistence it takes to bring cases to court, as he has formerly worked as a prosecutor. Attorney Nicole Chiravolatti has also worked in the role of assistant prosecuting attorney in the city’s Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and possesses not only the experience, but also the leadership qualities it takes to become an elite defender and advocate.

Here is our attorney. Nicole Chiravolatti’s, insight on their involvement as professors at the university:
“Each year, it continues to be one of the most rewarding experiences for me to help guide and motivate law students to reach their full potential as criminal litigators. It is truly an honor to be a witness to so many talented future attorneys and to play a small part in their growth in the area of criminal litigation.”
